So you're looking for a Diablo Clone, aren't you? Are you on the lookout for the coveted Annihilus? This is only one of the most expensive buy Diablo 2 resurrected items in the game, as there are many others.   You could always hope that he will appear in your next game, but the chances of that happening are so slim that it is almost certain that it will never happen.   There were like 8 people on that ANNI and it happened so quickly.   It's only happened to me once and I'll never do it again.   In other words, there's a slim chance of it happening, and more often than not, other players will join your game and steal your ANNI (Annual Network Identification).   Before I begin, I must acknowledge that I learned a lot from another guide written by Hoarshade, and I owe a debt of gratitude to him for getting me started and providing a lot of the information.

1.   The introductory paragraph

Let's start with a definition of what DC is.   He's a more powerful version of Diablo that appears in certain games and can drop the anni charm, which contains the following attributes:

+1 to all abilities

All Attributes (stats) receive a score of 10-20.

10-20 to all forms of opposition

5-10% of the time, you gain experience.

I constantly hear people with these messed up ideas about how he spawns, as well as people who are curious about how it is done.   You may find it difficult at first if you are not a computer-savvy individual like myself, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.   This is a fantastic alternative to Mfing, also known as magic find running, which is the primary method by which almost everyone finds D2R ladder items to trade for their characters look at.   I used to MF a lot and still do on occasion, but it's much more difficult to find valuable PC D2R ladder items these days, especially since the introduction of 1.  10 runewords, which you can't technically "find.  "Due to the depreciation of many items, the number of valuable items available for purchase has been significantly reduced, reducing your search results.   Furthermore, killing meph all day becomes extremely monotonous.

In addition to being entertaining, hunting DC will expose you to a side of Diablo you never expected, saw, or knew existed.   It is possible to pull in 4-6 anni's per day if you are a dedicated DC hunter and are good at what you do.   Some people have even pulled in a total of 12 ounces.   I was skeptical on my first day, but I ended up pulling in two that day.   As a result, it is also risky, as you must guess and use your judgment, and you may be unlucky on occasion, as I will explain later.

In Hell games, DC can only spawn once and can appear in D2 Classic, Ladder, Non-Ladder, Softcore, and Hardcore modes.   DC cannot spawn in any other mode.

2.   EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

  • You must run Diablo in WINDOWS mode, which means that it will appear as a window and will not take up as much space as if it were running in full screen mode

  •   As an added bonus, it's much easier to minimize, and it allows you to play the game while simultaneously watching other things that indicate where DC will spawn (which I'll explain in a second)

  •   To accomplish this, create a Diablo shortcut on the desktop, in the same place where the recycling bin, my computer, and other similar Switch D2R ladder items are located

  •   Now select properties from the context menu of the right click

  •   It should say "target with a box" rather than "target

  •  "It is possible that the contents of this box will read: "DProgram FilesDiablo II," and that you will need to type a space followed by –w to run the game in windows mode

  •   Having to minimize and reload the game every time you need to check something outside of the Diablo game is much more convenient

  •

3.   Where can I find DC?

There is one thing you must understand, and that is that once you create a game, it is hosted on a server, which can be identified by its IP address.   These IP addresses have a range of.  30 to.  180, for a total of 150 servers or IP addresses in the range.   Some people prefer to say server 30 instead of.  30 because it is the same thing; therefore,.  30 equals 30,.  100 equals 100, and so on.   A game is randomly assigned to a server once it is created, so if I create a game it could be assigned to server.  45 or.  152, and I have no control over where it is assigned.   Understand that DC does not spawn in specific games; rather, he spawns in specific servers.   So, for example, if there are 1000 games hosted on server.  45, then ALL games hosted on server.  45 will receive the message "Diablo walks the earth," and DC will be created in all of those games.   All other games on different servers continue to function as before.

So, what is the best way to get him to spawn? It has something to do with the Stone of Jordan's or SOJS.   The times at which he spawns are not as random as some people believe.   It is only when 75-150 SOJS are sold on a specific server that DC spawns on that specific server.   Some argue that the SOJ's spawning range is greater or less than that, but for the purposes of this article, let's assume he spawns between 75 and 150 times.   As a result, if 75-150 SOJS are sold on the server.  45 minutes later, ALL games are in.   DC is spawned at a rate of 45.   One thing to keep in mind is that most players cooperate and sell SOJS on specific servers in order to create DC in order to obtain the Anni charm, so the selling of SOJS is not as random as you might expect.

Now, how do you locate a game on a specific server and determine which server you are currently on? Here's where things get difficult.   You must continue to create games until you are able to place a game on a specific server.   So, for example, if I create a game, I might be on server.  45 one time, and then in the next game, I might be on server.   I continue in this manner until I reach the desired server.   There are two methods for determining which server you are currently connected to.   The first method is to go to the start menu, which is located at the bottom of your computer's tool bar, and then select the application.   Run away from the situation.  .  .  A small box should appear, and you should type cmd into it.   A black screen should appear at this point.   You must be participating in a game in order to determine which server you are on.   A long string of numbers should appear, with the last of which reading: 4000 at the very end.   Your server number is the number that comes before this one.   So, for example, if the numbers read xxx.    xxx.   xxx.   45:4000, it means you are on server 45.  .  The second method is to download a program from mIRC (I will explain what mIRC is shortly) that will tell you which server you are currently on when you run Diablo.   I will explain what mIRC is shortly.   It should display a blue bar at the very top of your Diablo window to indicate where the blue bar is located.   This is not a hack, but rather a more convenient way to see which server you are currently on.   It saves you a lot of time because you don't have to keep typing in netstat –n all the time like you would otherwise.

One thing to keep in mind is that the servers on which DC spawns in different realms, such as the United States East, West, and Europe, are completely different.   If the United States East gains access to the server.  45, this does not mean that Europe will gain access to it as well.   Each realm has its own set of rules.   However, all of US East, Classic, Hardcore, Ladder, Non-Ladder, and other servers will spawn DC on the SAME server.   As a result, if DC appears in server.  45 on US East, then DC will appear in all Ladder, Non-Ladder, Softcore, Hardcore, and Classic games in that realm, regardless of server.

As a result, you're probably wondering, how do I figure out which server I want to use? What is the best way to determine which server is most likely to spawn DC? The question is, which servers have the most potential.   Here's where things get a little tricky.   You'll need to download mIRC, which is a chat room for various video games.   One of the chat rooms is SPECIALIZED in the hunt for D clones in a specific realm (e.   g.  , the United States East, the United States West, or Europe).   So, once you've downloaded and started it, you'll be presented with the mIRC options screen, where you can enter your name, nickname, E-mail address, and so on.   Following that, it should prompt you to select which server you wish to connect to.   Input the address irc.   dcloneirc.   net.   In order to proceed, you must connect to the server, which will then prompt you for the channel you wish to use to communicate.

Depending on which realm you're on, you can use the hashtags #uswest-dclone #useast-dclone #Europe-DClone.

Then, before you can communicate, you must first register your nick name.   Following that, you should be able to converse and discuss.   Afterwards, each time you log back in and connect to either #uswest-dclone #useast-dclone #Europe-DClone, you must type in the /ns identify PASSWORDYOUCHOSE command.

PASSWORDYOUCHOSE is the password you chose when you registered on this website.   You should be able to communicate once more now.   Even though everyone's experience will be different, you should be able to figure it out with a little bit of figuring and fiddling around.   After half an hour of trying, I finally got it to work; however, I'm not very good at these things, so you should be fine.

It is absolutely necessary to connect to mIRC.   You can also download programs that "assist" you in your hunting efforts and make it more convenient.   If you ask around, you will find that people are more than willing to assist you at any time of day or night.   Even if you don't have any characters capable of killing DC, someone will do it for you and reward you with the Anni, which is yet another fantastic feature of the game.

Okay, so what exactly do you do in mIRC that is so beneficial? They have bots on every server that keep track of the SOJ count and can tell you which servers are selling SOJS as well as the total number of SOJs on a number of different servers.   For example, it may inform you that the server is down.  25 is at 30 SOJS, which means they must sell 45 more in order to be IN RANGE to spawn the Doomsday Clock.   Once you've entered your channel, there are a variety of things you should look at.   First and foremost, you will notice that on the main screen and on the top blue bar (where the buttons to minimize, maximize, and close are located), there is text that reads (CO-OP) (HOT) (ACTIVE) (SLOW) (WALKED) on it.

3.   ONE FINAL AND VERY IMPORTANT POINT.

In the world of bots, there are things called MISWALKS.   This means that the server, for example, popped and spawned DC but it was not recorded by the bots.   As a result, it may report server.  45 as having 120 SOJS for a few hours at a time.   The likelihood of this occurring is extremely low, because if people claimed it was at 120, they would dump SOJS like crazy and pop it in no time.   Because of this, if you see a server with a high number of SOJS up, such as 130, but it is not recorded as being walked, you can say that it was a miswalk, meaning that the bots did not record it.   Don't get involved in these games.   That is why I believe conversations are the most powerful tool you can use.   Because you can simply ask, "Is.  45 a miswalk?" and you will receive a positive or negative response.   As a general rule, if it has been over 75 SOJS for an extended period of time and has not been recorded as a walk, it is most likely a miswalk.
